energy heightens in anticipation
thunder erupts as darkness descends
and lightening reveals the melodic creation
i close my eyes and i am intensely alone
absorbing this steady pulsing cadence
body moving rhythmically as if on its own
melting into this sonorous embrace
fire devours my heart causing spirit to rise
transforming the boundaries of this time and space
and i explode with presence so alive
grasping onto this moment as it becomes
the dimension within which i am able to revive
